Liberty_Village_mapBack in the early 2000’s, you could walk through Liberty Village and see abandoned buildings from Toronto’s industrial age. Buildings that manufactured military supplies, steel, toys and even candy. In fact, Liberty Village was one of Toronto’s oldest settlements, dating back to the late 1700’s when the British Military set up shop in nearby Fort York.

Since then a lot has changed in Liberty Village. From a forgotten industrial district to a lively, vibrant and youthful condo community, Liberty Village offers Toronto residents a great work-life balance with many tech firms and businesses setting up shop in the neighbourhood, which has spurred one of Toronto’s greatest residential condo booms.

Have a look at the dramatic changes the wildly successful Liberty Village condo community in Toronto has seen over the years with these two dramatic GIFs.
