Toronto Real Estate Market Update | January 2015
The Toronto Real estate market is off to a strong start in 2015. This January we saw a 6.1% increase in homes sold compared to last January with no slowdown in sight.
There was a significant surge in new listings, up by 9.1% over last years numbers, yet supply remains very tight with prices also up by a more modest 4.9% over last year.
Multiple Offers are still the norm this winter on virtually all property types, including all detached singles, semis, townhomes and even on some condos.
With interest rates getting cut and the lack of available homes, you can expect demand to remain high for the near future.
